A long slow start consisting almost entirely of pointless scenes and plot lines that go nowhere. Bland (and largely poorly acted) genre standard protagonist teens. A stock and rather lazy horror plot that seems to take itself too seriously. Top it all with an awkwardly goofy performance by Dennis Quaid and scenes so dark that you can barely see what's going on and you get a rather bad and entirely skippable horror flick.
