DiCaprio's acting was great, the make up as well, but the film itself was quite boring.

By the way, DiCaprio acting was wonderful. I had to remind myself several times that Hoover was in fact not Hoover.
@dunpealhunter: I found it similar to Aviator, not as exciting but similar.
