Clyde (Sidney Poitier) and Billy (Bill Cosby) are devoted members of the Sons and Daughters of Shaka, whose home is about to be taken away by its owner, the city of Atlanta. To raise the cash needed to pay for a new meeting place, the dynamic duo decides to fix the outcome of a lop-sided boxing match.
