Just as he is on the brink of winning a senate seat, politician David Norris meets a ballerina named Elise Sellas. Though David is smitten, mysterious men conspire to keep him away from the beautiful dancer. David learns he is up against the powerful agents of Fate itself, and, glimpsing the future laid out before him, must either accept a predetermined path that does not include Elise, or defy Fate to be with her.
Very Poor Film - Way to far fetched storyline with hardly no action scenes! Spent most of the movie watching Matt Daemon running through doors! What a waste of 2 hours! I was glad when it ended!
Probably the most disappointing film i've seen this year. The whole premise was so fantastical as to be almost childish. It tried to display a level of intelligence that never really worked with the simplistic storytelling. I admit I like the chemistry between the two main characters, but you should, that is the crux of the film. It was supposed to be 'deep' in certain ways but in the end it was a group of people gifted with extraordinary powers chasing normal people - rather ineptly.
I liked it. Not a movie ill watch again any time soon, but i though it was pretty decent.
The movie had a small religious undertone to it, we get small hints that the chairman represents God and that the agents represent Angels. Luckily that undertone is small enough not to ruin the entire movie.
I though this might be a good thriller from Matt Damon, but I had to wait an houre before anything happened at all. Way to much romantic scenes, and way to little thriller for my taste. IMDb score 4!!
