Bridesmaids was one of the most enjoyable comedies I've seen in a long time.

There‘s some funny bits, but so much of it is just Schadenfreude or gross-out humor, and I hate that. I mean, why would I want to watch a movie where I‘m constantly supposed to laugh at everyone’s embarrassment and misery? I just feel sorry for them.

Por vezes arranca gargalhadas de até impedir a respiração. Quem diria que preparar um casamento poderia ser tão demolidor quando a noiva tem duas "madrinhas" competitivas. Sem cair em clichés, consegue ainda mostrar o valor da amizade, qual o sentido da vida e das relações em pano de fundo.

Possibly the most "laugh out loud" funny comedy of Judd Apatow's collection after The 40-Year-Old Virgin. This movie had me cracking up the whole time, largely due to the chemistry between Byrne and Wiig. The way Byrne delivers every line is comical, even if it is not meant to be. Shut your brain off, sit back and check out this movie!

I had to bite the dust and watch this chick flick since my wife watches a lot of horror movies with me, and to be honest, I was surprised by how funny and enjoyable it was.

I used to think this movie was hilarious but after being in a few wedding parties since then, it is even more relatable. The cast in general is pretty stellar and I like that Melissa McCarthy was contained but perfect in this. If I could change one thing, it's that we could've had a Vegas party scene in it, but that is just nitpicking at this point. Definitely a must-watch.

I had heard the movie was hilarious.... and I had never watched it. Instead it was about a miserable woman making everyone around get miserable because of a jerk ex boyfriend. It had its moments, but overall a waste of a couple hours.
A genuinely funny script that didn't really need to go the gross-out route, although it doesn't suffer for choosing to do so anyway. At its best during a rapid-fire first hour, the humor cools off noticeably when the drama llama rears its head during the home stretch, like it suddenly decided not to fully commit to any one specific identity.
Though it occasionally presses too far across the delineation between awkward humor and legitimate discomfort, the flick's lively, personable cast is never far off, with a life preserver tucked under one arm. Loaded with all-stars from every corner of the comedy spectrum, the jokes are delivered with predictable credibility, with many cast members also showing a surprisingly strong set of dramatic chops to boot. Despite a sappy, lovesick ending that seems to stand in contrast to its initial character, this is a witty, charming, raunchy little bundle of joy that's as good as you've probably heard, no more and no less.
tim's faces were the funniest parts but yeah some really good shit jokes and i liked the approach to the whole "women are cunty to each other" thing. 6.5/10
I was expecting more from it as well, though I did have a good laugh at a few scenes. Just thought they could have taken more advantage of Kristen Wiig's talent in comedy. Loved Melissa McCarthy's character though.

Kristen Wiig can do so wrong. Chris o'Dowd struts his stuff (all is forgiven for Dinner with Schmucks). Great heart. Fuuny, funny, funny.
If you like O'Dowd "FAQ about Time Travel" is a must.
