Crescendo 1970

Dull Hammer psychological thriller about a music student who does research on a recently deceased composer gets mixed up with his dysfunctional family. I didn't enjoy this at all. It's got the usual odd characters, good visuals, and good amount of nudity as expected from Hammer films with some good performances from James Olson and Jane Lapotaire, but the film's not thrilling at all. It drags a lot and gets too soapy as the film goes. There are twists but they all feel forced. I can see why this is a lesser-known entry.
