very interesting case but the documentary unfortunately fell short in the second half. they brought in experts from various fields but didn't give them enough screen time to successfully argue their theories on the motives (they mentioned a gender angle, a money angle connected to her past, etc. but never actually finished that line of explanation (irl they probably did but that wasn't reflected in the final edit)). I almost wish they would've left it out completely and instead focused solely on the sister and her fight for justice. that part was very moving and touching and I felt a lot for her and the accused murderer's children. unconnected to the quality of the documentary, but the defense attorney is a great talker and very good at his job. I personally still think the accused actually committed the murders but I would be hesitant to actually vote for a conviction in some of those cases if I was on a jury.
