A remastered version of Jesus: He Lived Among Us, God With Us is a poorly made animated film from The Voice of the Martyrs. When one of Jesus’ disciples is taken to a Roman prison, he tells the guards the story of his Lord and how he came to believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. The animation isn’t very good, particularly the mouth movements (which often don’t line up). And the voice work is shoddy at best. However, the storytelling is fairly well-done, capturing the essence of Christ’s message and the major events of the Gospel. Yet ultimately, God With Us is a subpar film that was made on the cheap, and it shows.
