Legion 2010

Confusing plot - it doesn't seem to have consistency to what it wants to achieve. The ending seems supposed to be a cliffhanger but didn't leave viewers with anything to be wondering for. Some scenes are wasted with talks that gives neither character development nor plot progression. The acting and visuals were good, though it doesn't save the movie from its flaws.

I thought this movie was awesome, but you have to believe in something greater than yourself to understand the plot, however, I do think they need to make either a prequel or sequel to explain somethings. It was very disappointing that Michael never explained much of anything to the group at the diner, when he first showed up, the writer should learn from that mistake in the sequel.

Hmmm...Legion let's see...filthy-mouthed spider Granny. I remember that. Oh yeah, weird Ice Cream Man...that was kinda cool. Ummm...ahhh. I think I stayed awake when I watched this but I can't remember a danged thing about it. I guess there was a battle between a good angel and a battle angel that wouldn't end. There was some run-of-the-mill CGI. There was nothing scary in the least. Just skip this and watch "The Exorcist" again.

So for all of you that love to be simply entertained and want a thriller, action, even part horror film then absolutely treat yourself to Legion and avoid trying to pick it apart. It's a solid action trick.

So many clichés it's almost funny and the plot is horrible. I know it had been given quite bleak reviews, but had to try it as I like the theme. It's not good though, so no loss in skipping it, but ok entertainment.

Like devotedtodisney said: Great acting by Paul Bettany. But this does not save the movie. Dennis Quaid is also not bad, but the amount of plotholes is so high, it destroys the rest of the movie.

2/10 for Paul Bettany

This Christmas the angels are coming to wipeout humanity in the supernatural thriller Legion. The film follows a dark nativity story where legions of angels are sent to prevent the birth of a prophet and to bring about an apocalypse. The cast features some impressive talent, such as Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, and Adrianne Palicki, who do a fair job. However, the special effects are weak and end up hurting the film. Still, the action scenes are creative and energetic, which helps to keep the film engaging. Legion is entertaining and has a lot of solid action, but the story and the characters are underdeveloped.

Drags in the middle a bit but otherwise solid entertainment. Grandma scene is a must see!

Watched this by mistake. There's an older film called Legion. Older and infinitely better. This is truly awful.

What starts out with some (very) promising imagery and hints at an epic battle between God and men, looses its momentum in the second half of the film when the dark action flick with some horror elements turns into a brainless slayer flick. I especially didn't like the ending, which could have been much more exciting and could have delivered its message ("Never loose faith, even in the darkest moments") in an much more memorable way!

Very disappointed with this film. Same plot as the Terminator, but with a Biblical background and creepy exorcist/zombie moments.

The only saving grace was Paul Bettany's performance - the only strong character and cast member throughout the film.

This film was a mashup of cliche ideas, topped with a bad script and weak cast.

Without a doubt - weak sauce.
