A wonderful look into a masterful film. The passion from everyone is palpable. There’s so many different tones in each story from a crew or cast about mothers, with the same core of familial sacrifice. And Boon and Kim are such experts of their crafts, seeing them work and bounce off each other and really feeling the mutual respect between them is such a treat. Boon ends the doc hoping he’ll be able to make a better film than this one. This doc makes a case for both how he has the aptitude to achieve such a goal, and the reason why that goal may just be impossible.
