[AFFBCN'21] The film benefits from a trio of veteran actors who give a much more accurate depth to its characters than we find in Joel Lamangan films that have newcomers as protagonists. And although the story is predictable in its condition of redemption of the protagonist, who will go through helping his children in their complicated lives, the film unfolds with an agile pace in its condition of autumn drama. But there are some aspects that are certainly debatable, such as a youth scene in which a romantic character is given to what is clearly a case of sexual abuse, and the portrait of the gay character devoted to the needs of his straight friend. This representation of the sentimental dependency of homosexuals against masculinity is archaic and dangerous.
