Using a made up language feels like a poor choice. But poor choices seems to be the theme to this movie so I guess it fits.
Jesus! If I could jump back time, I would’ve spent that 1h and half watching the birds fly outdoors and I would’ve enjoyed it more. :dizzy_face::dizzy:
That’s all I have to say for this movie.
Very metaphorical, much didactic. Plenty of anachronistic nonsense that makes it feel more like fantasy than stone age. Nice scenery, a bit tiring creative camera work and editing. Sometimes confusing if the sound is narrative or soundtrack. Is not great but is ok.

The movie first serious flaw is in its ambience, costumes and behavior of the characters, which do not match what it could have been like 45 thousand years ago.
Even with this flaw, the story starts intriguing and manages to attract attention in its first minutes, but the slow pace and a dull conclusion end up leaving the film boring.
I was annoyed with having to sit through this movie reading subtitles, because they wanted to use a made up language. It added nothing to the film whatsoever and just made it worse.

I tried to enjoy this but Wiz Khalifa kept crying about nothing.
Uh... This felt so pointless.
Once the film ended, I wasn’t really left with much of an impression. It was fine but that’s about it.
The best part about this movie was the atmosphere and soundtrack. Really kept the suspense going.
This movie had a lot going for it, great atmosphere, score, and an interesting premise. I liked where it went, but the journey to get there was a little tideious and pacing a little slow. Cinematography was great at times and annoying in some. Worth a watch, but this isn’t a movie for everybody.
Like my homemade pizza soup: tasteful and good enough for me, but not for everyone.
This horror movie set 45,000 years ago is as original as my pizza soup but lacks some ingredients like proper suspense to be a crowd pleaser.
