Great comedy and it is fun to see E.T. running around acting like a human. Priceless!!
Nowhere near as funny as it should have been and there was never a moment that I saw Paul and not Seth Rogen. Good, but not great.
I thought some of the humor was a little too ridiculous, like 3rd grade level, but once you get past that, it’s a fun and entertaining movie.

The Pegg/Frost chemistry is there. The Edgar Wright direction isn't. And the final third of the film really misses him...
It's funny, witty and enjoyable.
Seth Rogen can do no wrong in my book and his voice is enough to give life to an animation!
Extended version is the one to watch as it still clocks in under 2 hours.

Very funny, but a bit too childish at times. Pegg and Frost has the same, undoubtable chemistry, but it doesn't feel as good as their other movies together, due to Rogen being put into the mix.

I'm a big fan of Simon Pegg but this one is definitely meh. Was happy to watch it but it's neither funny or so interesting. It's just a good easy-watching film for a rainy weekend.

not really bad, very predictable and mediocre but in a self aware way, so if you go in with the right mood you will enjoy.

Can't tell if I laughed more this time around because it is a comedy that pulled no stops on certain jokes and I miss that, or I just understood the jokes more now. Either way, I thought it was hilarious.
It was a good movie, very funny, it wasn't boring, but the logic of this movie is totally missing, meaning Agent Zoil was a villain but he turned out to be a character who helped Paul, a very good movie anyway.
I laughed probably... well... 2 times. There were a lot of nice references in there for the fans of sci-fi to other movies/series (back to the future was obvious, star trek, martians, many like that), but as a comedy it fails. We did continu to watch till the end, but even right up till the end everything was 100% predictable. Not Simon Pegg his best movie.
I rewatched this one again the other day just for the hell of it; still got me giggling. Halfway through, I spotted a Super Nintendo with a Super Mario World cartridge and various Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) references; even later a character appears played by an actor well-known to the world of Sci-Fi (horror) films. I was wondering why Paul's voice sounded so much like Seth Rogan, and then of course I later found out that it indeed was voiced by him.
Rogen has brought some animated or CGI characters alive without just coming off as...Seth Rogen. Paul however, he doesn't try too hard to make anything more than a alien version of himself. Since he even smokes weed.
Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Kristen Wiig are charming though. The supporting cast is also great.
Endearing with lots of heart. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not as good as Shaun of the Dead not as funny as I hoped... I still loved it though. Great cast I would watch again and recommend to a friend so that is a winner in my book :)

To your statement: Watch the movie "Paul" on english, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then the german version. Also - Rango is indeed a bad movie.
