This documentary was amazing. Really she’s light on something I was completely ignorant about. Power to the sherpa, down with the ones exploiting them!

Loved the docudrama but the meeting scene was so uncomfortable, the mountain expedition guy seemed to be manipulating/putting ideas into people’s heads that it was a “terrorism” as such when the Sherpa were simply unwilling to risk their lives, which is an absolutely fair point that should be enough. Sure they won’t have money but is money more important than a life? Trying to scare the Sherpa that their own people would harm them and threaten them when there was nothing of that sort. Really uncomfortable end for me. Hope the gov bans it and gives their communities other employment opportunities and support.
