This is a really great film! Such a shame it didn't do too well in cinemas.

DiCaprio's acting was great, the make up as well, but the film itself was quite boring.

The only thing this movie has about Die Hard is the name and the "McClane". Die hard died ( in a good way ) inside a trilogy. The other 2 are just average/below average action movies that cached a ride on one of the best action movies better made ( US ) .

This turned out to be better than I expected. I went in with very low expectations. It's certainly better than the average romcom (it's not a romcom). While the plot is somewhat familiar this particular plot is actually based on a true story so the reuse of a common trope is not so bad.

It was ok but Inglorious bastards was much better

The first ever "horror" movie i seen in my life, the acting is horrible, the special effects are horrible and the story is stupid, but somehow that makes an amazing movie. I may just be viewing this though nostalgia glasses, but i think there is a reason this is a cult classic.

A perfect end to a very funny series. All this people thinking they were getting anything but perfect b grade cult movie are idiots. This movie spawned some of the greatest lines in Duke Nukem 3D, and is a perfect way to end the trilogy :D

A beautiful looking movie but not fully realised..has some wonderful moments.Its like a long music video..i liked it but its no "Moon " or "The Fountain" . A few tweaks and it could have been good.

Mandarin was disappointing. Overall, an entertaining movie.

Ehhh... not feeling the hype. In Tarantino movies, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, and even Dusk til Dawn rank above this one.

Many reviews will claim that the movie is surprising and unpredictable. Not exactly. I suppose it's unpredictable only if you've only read/seen one particular genre your entire life. It drops enough hints for you to "get it" i.e the surprise element. If not, you'll do a forehead smack at the end and realize what you did miss. Other than that "surprise" the rest are pretty common tropes. Well done tropes but common all the same. It's worth watching if you want a romance but don't expect anything more than that.

I agree that it's overhyped. It had a few minor laughs like just about any comedy, but not a "great" movie. I like Wahlberg in some movies, but he's just not a funny guy. Ever see him in an interview? He's about as exciting as a Wooden Indian.
