They made five of these and I watched all of them. I think Silent Night, Deadly Night films are all worth watching. This one's a silly garbage in the best way possible, giving a fresh new feel to the franchise and you actually feel the Christmas vibe this time around. Also amazing gore effects by Screaming Mad George.

"The Toy Maker" is probably the best sequel to "Silent Night, Deadly Night," which is not saying much considering the poor quality of the individual installments. In any case, a positive aspect is that the Christmas theme is back in the spotlight this time. At its core, the story is about deadly toys, with Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney playing an important supporting role as toy maker Joe Petto (lol) along with his son Pino (lol). Everyone should be able to guess where the story is going based on these two names. The plot never really takes off, but it's still a good direct-to-video horror film with some good practical effects and a fair amount of blood.
