A bit better than the first one, IMO, maybe because it wasn't quite as dated (almost 10 years later than the original Sniper produced in 1993). The acting was a bit better in this one, the story more believable. Sequels are notorious for falling short of the original but in this case, I felt the follow-up was done more smoothly, with more believability. The characters were also more plausible and easy to associate with. It did seem to take its time getting started, but once you got into the story, it was quite enjoyable.
