State of Siege Temple Attack is a fairly engaging, action thriller loosely based on the Akshardham Temple attack in 2002. The film's first half intricately narrates the entry of the terrorists into the temple which is intriguing and neatly done. Akshaye Khanna anchors the entire film single-handedly with his charming avatar but the inadvertent writing of the climax and typical some over-the-top scenes again makes this an average hostage drama which otherwise could have been a worthy sleek thriller.
