Found this gem through Alex Turner's music. I didn't regret it. Actually the opposite. I really loved it!

It's hard to find a coming-of-age film that brings at least a little something different. I loved everything about this film. It had a different vibe to it than so many others in this genre. It's not going to knock your socks off.... it's just quirky and really good.

Not really a comedy as it isn't funny. Pretty boring film and overly artsy. The only thing that makes up for it is Alex Turner's amazing soundtrack; with some of the songs making the Arctic Monkey's album, 'Suck it and See'.

I discovered "submarine" thanks to Alex Turner's beautiful soundtrack and I found a gentle and honest coming of age movie made by evocative visuals. It makes you smile throughout the whole movie and It may be slow for some but it's worth It.

Submarine. This quirky and stylized British comedy is both involving and hilarious. It deals with the central theme of humans being incapable of ever knowing what someone's truly thinking or feeling,
and it's pretty funny, so check it out.

The smelly and messy teenage love presented in the best way possible and a dash of magic provided by Alex turner's tracks is all you need to know to watch this masterpiece.

What a boring movie. Probably one of the worst I've watched this year so far.

A good teen romance film. The romance in it wasn't forced. They were both weird, a perfect match. It was deep like ocean in many sense. A perfect example that "young love doesn't last" isn't true. A relationship needs to be nurture. His parents' relationship problems were also his concern. He tried to work out both his and his parents' relationship. Obviously he messed up. But his dedication worked things out.

Not sure why it took me this long to rewatch what was, and basically still is, one of my favourites of all time but I'm glad I finally got around to viewing this with more mature eyes.
This is such an elite film crew of Brits - the cast, the editors, the music (Alex Turner is the perfect vibe) and of course nothing can go wrong with Richard Ayoade as CEO.

A sensitive and honest film with a real propensity to tell a story that never borrows the usual and very poor vocabulary of some modern comedies.

I admit the boring story. but it's an exceptional movie, intellectual characters and creative filming. am re-watching it.
