Great Film for it's age, Dated by todays standards of Special effects
Of all the films being remade, this film 'The Dambusters' Is long overdue for a remake NOT REBOOT, There was talk of Peter Jackson owning the rights to the film, It be great if he remade it providing it was all historically accurate (but i'm sure they won't be calling his dog by its real name)

The best WW2 aviation movie. Probably a solid 45 mins of actual Lancasters flying. A great cast, superb plot, and easy to see why it was inspiration for the attack on the Death Star in Star Wars. The dog’s name is a racial slur which I assume why this movie has been largely scrubbed from any legit digital provider.
