Movie states that Major depression, Schizophrenia and DID are all causes of human aggression (in relation to murder) and like... NO those are the people who are victims of human aggression. Seems the writer/director whoever just hates people with mental disorders and threw the most vulnerable under a bus. Later on people with bipolar disorder are tossed under a bus. The real demons are the people that made this film.
it's not that great but it's found footage so did i watch it completely riveted?? absolutely
How could this get 2 votes of totally ninja? This movie sucks big time
6.5/10
Fair enough
Gets to the point and doesn't over stay it's welcome, yes their is so much better of this genre out their,
(I have them),
But this has a
decent cast
With a cool tail
Of proving Demonic
Possession over
Mental illness,
Not so much original
and rather a
low budget production.
Good acting and that
Last 20mins makes it
all worthwhile.
(I've seen much
much
Worse this year
Alone 2022
With a much,much
Bigger production
And
names attached.

These are the worst movies
Of 2022,
Halloween Ends being
the worst movie of all time.
There is no ending, unless you count "check out this non-existent website for more info".
Frightening and intense, The Devil Inside is a terrifying tale of horror. Isabella Rossi, whose mother suffers from demonic possession, films a documentary about exorcisms in order to better understand what happened to her mother and possibly help her. The film is shot exceptionally well and does a great job integrating different types of footage into a narrative. And, there’s an authenticity to the look of the film that enhances the faux documentary style. The Devil Inside may be a little too by the numbers, but it’s a solid horror film that delivers some thrills.
The Italian with the English overdub is pretty annoying and within the first 5 minutes I see some fake looking deaths and a house that looks more like a crack house. I give it a 2 @ most.
Yet another faux documentary horror film, and like all faux documentary horror films it's a disjointed, padded, boring, unscary mess. There are a few potentially decent scenes, mostly ruined by the fact that you can barely see or hear anything because of the intentionally out-of-focus and shaky cinematography and quiet dialogue. The story itself is utterly unoriginal, managing to hit every note of a very tired subgenre.
It particularly fails as a horror film. Any tension that may have existed is killed entirely by the lengthy sections of characters walking around spouting uninteresting dialogue about the the details of possession, exorcism, and the church.
All of this is made worse by the truly terrible ending. The last third of the movie seems to attempt to make up for the dearth of content prior by jamming in an entire film's worth of plot and events. The rushed sequences lack any meaning or tension as they pass before you have much time to be scared. In truth there isn't even an actual ending. The film resorts to that cheap and lazy technique of suddenly stopping without bothering to resolve anything. All it offers in return is a half-assed attempt to sell the audience the line that it's all actually real.
In conclusion, if you want an exorcism film just watch The Exorcist again. That's all these exorcism films ever attempt to be, and they all manage to fail hilariously.
