This movie was a ton of nothing. The premise was good and few beats were clever but nothing about this actually worked. The actors weren't up to the task and the editing was cheesy. There didn't even seem to be a real message or theme. Nothing connected for me.
It's really too bad, this is the kind of film I would love if done well.
The movie promises more than it delievers - a little like the immaculate room itself - but it managed to maintain my interest, despite the occasional flaws.
The pandemic in 88minutes hahahahaha. Bro got tha chance to have a threesome. Instead of that he spent money on crayons, true artist.
This movie is not going to be for everyone. It’s a psychological thriller centered around a game. I like me my Saw movies, Escape Room, etc. This is certainly in that vein, albeit a more tame version. As a decent big fan of the three actors, and a fan of the genre as mentioned above, I was willing to pay a bigger price tag to see this movie sooner. I was antsy people. Did it end up blowing me away?. It didn’t. But there’s a lot of really cool ideas, and that’s what I look for in these movies. Unique experiences that makes you think. This delivered in that regard.

Good movie! Good acting nice storyline. This is worth a watch.
I may be harsh here as there are elements I enjoyed more than most 4/10 level films. That said, I really went in wanting to fall in love w this as I'm a fan of single setting productions, but this fell flat more often than not. The acting was good, but Mr. Dewil created a work here asking the viewer to be okay with an underwhelming and mostly boring piece of art. As a former monk I'm sure this was sensory overload compared to much of what he's experienced, but it just didn't get there for me. 4.0
Needed more interesting characters to be engaging enough for me to like it. Good concept but I would rather see relatable people in that situation.
mostly i take issue with this being tagged as a sci-fi film in the hulu synopsis - fox reality did this about 15 years ago for real (reality tv real anyway) in the form of "solitary" but the contestants did it just for 50k. so, the insane prize money in this movie was the only sci fi angle. it was watchable which i can't say for every movie i've opened on hulu. still, i've seen both kate bosworth and emile hirsch put on some incredible performances and they felt a little dialed in here. under-90 movies don't need to be great for me to be entertained, so i'm glad it was kept short at least!
92 minutes of complete trash.
Do yourself a favor and do NOT watch this film.
