Based on the bestselling novel, The Nanny Diaries is a witty and heartfelt comedy. The story follows a recent anthropology graduate who takes a job as a nanny for a rich Fifth Avenue family, but soon finds the culture shock a little hard to handle. Featuring an impressive cast that includes Scarlett Johansson, Laura Linney, Chris Evans, and Alicia Keys, the performances are pretty good. And the comedy is also rather impressive, and delivers some wry satire about the nanny culture and the effects that it has on the family. However, the character development is a little weak and the plot’s a bit contrived at times. Yet overall,The Nanny Diaries is a fun and entertaining film with a poignant message.
A good decent entertaining film as it follows a young woman out of college who picks up a nanny gig while she figures out her future. The job ends up going array as the family she works for is a horribly self absorbed disfunctional wealthy group. But in the end the heart wrenching journey shows the film’s essence being that an unexpected opportunity at the right time can open one’s eyes to world’s hard truths and help one discover themselves. Many big time actors in this film and the plot ran smoothly and touched some emotions, but this is a pretty basic film.

A movie that has no special surprise or clue, but the movie itself isn't bad.
it's a feel-good, heartwarming movie for a good afternoon.
And Scarlett looks fantastic ;)
