I picked up the Bloodthirsty Trilogy from Arrow on a whim, but if The Vampire Doll is what I'm going to get with the other two as well, this might be one of the better pickups I've done in quite a while.
A creepy atmosphere, very good sets with an understated gothic feel, a story that has some twists and turns, and some actual good acting made this a nice watch. It's got quite the "Hammer" feel about it, but yet it didn't let me forget that it was in fact a Japanese film. I liked it!!!!
Really neat early Japanese Horror film that echos 1930's Universal monster movies and the Hammer movies of the 60's. The old house and the ghost of Yuko were very well done. The story moves quickly and there are a couple of shocks (not jump scares).
