That hilarious guy from "Seinfeld" and the other one from "Dumb & Dumber"? In 1997, I bet the studio execs thought, "Can't miss!"
But this movie is only marginally funny. There's a reason Michael Richards hasn't made anything good in theaters since "UHF". Jeff Daniels plays the straight man, when you want him to be funnier. At least I wanted him to be funnier, anyway.
Mostly forgettable. If you're home sick from work/school and it's on TV, give it a look. Otherwise, skip it.
