Present and past. History goes hand in hand with story. Berlin reunited, absorbed by a past that seems threatening. To reunite is to become one again. Like Undine, always in need of being attached to someone. "If you leave me, I will have to kill you." It is hypnotic the construction of the character, between reality and imagination. But it is also rough the use of the elements with which the story is created.
Didn’t like it overall. The short display of their weird relationship was interesting though.

The movie started well enough - there is a dramatic exchange between a man and a woman that appeared to be his former lover. There is a bit of intrigue after that as we get hints of something beyond our normal world. When all was said and done the movie was rather forgettable. I didn't feel the love story nor did the ending resonate. It felt like there was a better movie in there somewhere.
