I liked this, but something also felt extremely off the whole time. It’s almost Hallmark-ish. And it’s also the opposite of an underdog story, which doesn’t give it a true feel good sports moment. Again, I liked it. But something was off.

An awesome look into High School Football and how a team sticks together through the good and bad times.
When the Games Stands Tall was another good true-life football drama.
You should expect a lot of cheesy clichés.
Oh, and the plot description has it all wrong. It´s about getting them back on track after loosing the streak.

The film's decent, considering I discovered this at Vons, my grocery store in California. Incidentally I'm quite familiar w/ De La Salle's historically lengthy winning streak as my alma mater, Bakersfield High School, also had won a lot of games & championships & had the chance to lose to De La Salle in an early non-division game.
