Ravi L. Bharwani is an Indonesian director, screenwriter and producer. His debut feature The Rainmaker (2004) travelled to numerous film festivals and received the Asia New Talent Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2005. In February 2019, 27 Steps of May (2019) premiered at the Plaza Indonesia Film Festival, and was also shown at the Bengaluru International Film Festival (Biffes), the Mar Sharm El Sheikh Asian Film Festival (SAFF) and the Cambodia International Film Festival (CIFF).
