Feature films directed by Francis Ford Coppola without alternative cuts.

Excluded:
- "The Bellboy and the Playgirls (1962) - re-edit with additional shot footage of the West German film "Mit Eva fing die Sünde an (1958)".
- "Battle Beyond the Sun (1962)" - re-edit of the Soviet film "Nebo Zovyot (1959)"
- "Tonight for Sure (1962)" - re-edit of two projects: "The Wild Open Spaces" by Jery Schafer and a short film directed by Coppola called "The Peeper".
- "The Young Racers (1963)" - Coppola was second unit director.
- "The Terror (1963)" - Coppola, originally serving as Corman's assistant, went beyond his designated schedule and budget, choosing not to simply shoot the remaining scenes in three days. Instead, he shot additional footage for eleven days and made changes to the script.
- "Distant Vision (2015)" is an ongoing experimental film project.

Notes on alternatives cuts:
- "Mario Puzo's The Godfather: The Complete Novel for Television (1977)" is a television adaptation that aired in four segments. The presentation combines the first two films into chronological order and features additional deleted scenes - a common practice for special TV versions, driven by marketing considerations and extended runtime for more commercial breaks.
- "The Godfather 1901–1959: The Complete Epic (1981)" provides a streamlined iteration of the 1977 TV adaptation, encapsulating the entire narrative within a singular, uninterrupted segment at a reduced runtime. It's noteworthy that HBO aired an unaltered, single-segment version in 2016, preserving the original runtime without any reduction.
- "The Godfather Trilogy: 1901-1980 (1992)" is a chronological version of the all three films with inserted deleted scenes.
- "The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone" (2020) represents Francis Ford Coppola's second endeavor to refine the third installment of The Godfather saga. The home video release had previously incorporated approximately eight minutes of additional exposition.
- "The Outsiders: The Complete Novel" (2005) is a re-edit of the 1983 film that also includes 22 minutes of previously deleted footage.
- "Apocalypse Now: Redux (2001)" re-edit of the 1979 film that includes 49 minutes of deleted footage.
- "Apocalypse Now: Final Cut (2019)" combines elements of the theatrical and redux version.

An American slasher film series directed and produced by Rob Zombie. The series is a reboot of the 1978 horror film of the same name. Rob Zombie's "reimagining" follows the premise of John Carpenter's original, with Michael Myers stalking Laurie Strode and her friends on Halloween night. Zombie's film goes deeper into the character's psyche, trying to answer the question of what drove him to kill people.

A man and a woman meet in an air raid. After leaving the shelter they talk for a moment on the nearby bridge and promise to meet there again in six months if both are still alive. A second air raid separates them before they learn each others’ names. They do both survive the war but circumstances prevent their meeting in six months, thus beginning What Is Your Name?, the most phenomenally popular Japanese movie of the post-war era, eventually lasting six hours in three separate episodes, and arguably the most popular movie in Japanese history given the difference in ticket prices between its appearance and that of Princess Mononoke. https://japanonfilm.wordpress.com/2021/02/22/what-is-your-name-always-in-my-heart-kimi-no-na-wa-1953/

Between 1922 and 1925, a total of 23 issues of Dziga Vertov’s newsreel series KINO-PRAVDA (KINO-TRUTH) appeared (albeit irregularly and in very few copies). Vertov’s goal was to create a kind of ‘screen newspaper’; the title is a tribute to the newspaper Pravda founded by Lenin. Just like the KINONEDELJA (KINO-WEEK) newsreel series (1918-19), the KINO-PRAVDA issues offer a fascinating insight into the early Soviet Union and demonstrate the rapid development of Vertov’s film language. The 22 surviving issues (No. 12 is lost) have been digitized and subtitled in German and English by the Austrian Film Museum.

Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine is a 1965 film parody of the then-popular spy trend (the title is a spoof of two James Bond films: the 1962 film Dr. No and the 1964 hit Goldfinger), made using actors from AIP's beach party and Edgar Allan Poe films. Despite its low production values, the film has achieved a certain cult status for the appearance of horror legend Vincent Price and AIP's beach party film alumni, its in-jokes and over-the-top sexuality, the claymation title sequence designed by Art Clokey, and a title song performed by The Supremes. Its success led to a sequel, produced in 1966, entitled Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs.

Ritwick Ghatak was averse to the term “refugee problem”. In one of his interviews, he said, “I have tackled the refugee problem, as you have used the term, not as a ‘refugee’ problem. To me it was the division of a culture and I was shocked”. This shock would give birth to a trilogy on the Partition – Meghe Dhaka Tara (The Cloud-capped Star), 1960; Komal Gandhar (E Flat), 1961; and Subarnarekha (The Golden Thread), 1962. In them, he highlighted the insecurity and anxiety engendered by the homelessness of the refugees of Bengal; tried to convey how Partition struck at the roots of Bengali culture; and sought to express the nostalgia and yearning that many Bengalis felt for their pre-Partition way of life.
