4x02 Thirty-Eight Snub

Walt illegally buys and begins carrying a snubnosed revolver, but Mike soon tells Walt he'll never see Gus again. Jesse, in an attempt to distract himself from having murdered Gale, buys an elaborate stereo system and throws an ongoing party with Badger and Skinny Pete. Hank continues to push Marie away. Skyler attempts to buy the car wash that employed Walt earlier (in season 1) but the owner angrily refuses. Walt follows Mike to a bar, tells Mike that he might be in danger as well, then asks Mike to get him in a room with Gus and Walt will "do the rest", but Mike out of either fear or loyalty to Gus, beats up Walt and walks away.

Jesse's unspoken last scene was intense. That kids a good actor.
Oh, man. This show just keeps going strong. It's hard to NOT give each episode a 10.

Little things I loved in this episode:
-The kooky party scenes. Jessie looking up at the camera.
-The Roomba cam.
-The overhead shot of Walt standing in the street with INTENSE shadows.
-The music didn't skip a beat from Jessie's party to his headphones in the lab.

ONE thing I don't like about this show, especially notable in this episode: the bass and volume are all over the place. If you watch it late at night with the wife and kids sleeping, keep the volume down button handy. ;-)

And, I hope Hank's rock collection is going somewhere, because it's getting old already.
I was really looking forward to watch this series again.. Totally rocks.

Excellent episode with many memorable scenes. Loved Walter putting his hat on in the car and practising with the gun
