Yep, it IS over the top.
CIA underground base but the "bad guy" escape from the elevator, computer mumbo-jumbo with matrix screens, woman in charge a better hacker that the specialist in her team, ...
Castle used to make fun of stupid things like this, now that could have been a NCIS episode, that's a bit sad

I liked it. And it's not that over the top as hessi claims. The US has a BIG problem when it comes to their debt. If China ever decides to stop buying US debt than considering the state the world currently financially is in there will probably not be enough other financial partners that could fill China's place. I wouldn't go so far as to say it would create WO III (for example Syria invading Israel seems too far-fetched, Syria has their own problems right now) but it would certainly destabilize the entire world and the USA in particular.

This was the first time i think i ever heard about Castle his father. I wonder if we get to see him in the show, and who will play the role. Castle after all said he disappeared, never that he was dead. So he could make a return as the story progresses.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Sure, it is a lot different to the original small-scale police related crimes... whoa... yeah, it has moved a LOT bigger... O_O Nevertheless, IMHO, this is the best two-parter of any TV show. It just got more and more epic, no... awesome, no..., I'll go even as far as to say LEGENDARY, by the minute.

So over the top it's not even funny anymore. Now can we please go back to small scale detective stories with some good dialogues?
