A rather average episode as a whole, but three moments opened the door for a darker minded Doctor and really made me shiver:
- the doctor actually walking away when on the background the spacestation is crashing and burning with people dying over the intercom
- the doctor turning into his godmode for a few moments. "I am the Timelord Victorious and create the rules of time!" Now that was unexpected, scary and very well acted by Tennant.
- After a suicide (on Dr. Who mind you) the Doctor questions his every action and is not self confidant at all. That was a big change from his godmode, which gave it a lot of impact.
