1x02 50 Cents Jet Car Takes Off

  • 2012-04-18T02:00:00Z43m

When we left the Parker brothers, the [fill in the blank] was about to hit the fan. Jeff had made the massive mistake of allowing designs to be sent to 50
Cent without Shanon's approval.

As if that weren't enough, now 50 has decided he wants to unveil the car at the Big Boy Toy Show in Dubai, pushing up the deadline for the car to be ready. What the boys had planned on taking a few months now has to be done in weeks.
But, no pressure.

Shanon Parker is the poster boy for the old saying: "growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional." This time, our favorite epic designer has decided to build an adult-sized toy from his childhood, the Green Machine. To crank that bad boy up to full-sized, though, they're at least going to need one of the biggest tires ever put on a motorized trike.

When Clark Wood of Autotrader.com walks into the first client meeting, Marc and Shanon are psyched. Mix speed, futuristic design, and high-horsepower electric engines? You have their attention. Clark gives the guys a bit to come up with their best, and then comes back to go over the designs. They need something that, while futuristic and badass, will still stop jaded auto show-goers in their tracks. Time for Shanon to bring his "A" game. The Turbo-Teen-meets-moon-buggy concept is a go.

"Get your butts out here."

Dude, when that call's coming from the one and only Peter Berg, the guys are on the next plane to Los Angeles. They've always wanted to be involved in the movie or television industry, and Marc is sure this is going to be their shot.

Peter Berg wants them to build a Shredder to promote his movie Battleship. When the guys see the footage, they're blown away. This thing just tears through everything. It's vicious. It's a big, rolling ball of badass. Marc is so psyched that he's ready to run back to Florida, because there is no way he's going to be able to sit on a plane for six hours.
