This quite a radical shift in the direction show. I'll admit I mostly hated last seasons "Letters in Transit", but after watching the this ep, it kinda all makes sense now. I still link the jump to 2036 was a bit muddled, and the transition could have been better.

I'm not convinced the plan was to make "The Observers" evil from the start. I think the show runner/writers switched gears at some point.

I'm not really feelin' the whole Nazi Germany vibe of the future. Not original at all. We'll have to see how this final season plays out. An interesting premiere to say the least.
