This is the second series, following Jim Henson's The Storyteller, which aired in 1988. The title role is played by Michael Gambon this time and his faithful dog is there, still voiced by Brian Henson. Instead of the European folk tales told in the first season, this series of four deals with the ancient Greek Myths.
