Kazuma Kannagi, who was exiled four years earlier for his defeat and his lack of talent in fire magic, returns to Japan with a changed name and tremendous skill in wind magic. Killings at the Kannagi house by a powerful wind user lead his former family to believe Kazuma is taking revenge for his exile.
