Special 1 Pilot Film

The door opens in a dark room spilling light into it; a man stands in the doorway and empties a submachine gun into the room.

Cut to Inspector Zenigata playing shogi over the phone trying to keep his opponent on the line while a trace is made. Zenigata calls checkmate; his opponent does likewise telling Zenigata that the pieces are fake. Zenigata examines the backs of the pieces to find "Lupin III" written on them. This infuriates Zenigata, but the trace went through! The call is coming from a phone booth outside. Zenigata rushes out to find the booth empty except for a shogi piece with the name "Zenigata" written on it. He throws the playing piece, and it explodes!

Lupin, Jigen, and Fujiko end up being trapped by Zenigata in an old mansion. Zenigata attempts to storm the mansion but fails; he falls back outside dragging his injured policemen with him. It is a stalemate; Lupin cannot get out, and Zenigata cannot get into the mansion. Suddenly, the famous private investigator Akechi Kogoro suggests that Zenigata throw a grappling hook through a second floor window. He then suggests that Zenigata tie the other end to a car bumper.

Special 3 Mystery of Mamo

Transylvania... Lupin has been captured and hanged to death; the coroner's report confirms that down to the DNA level this was the real Lupin the Third. However, Zenigata refuses to believe Lupin is dead and drives to a castle to view the body. He then proceeds to drive a stake through the heart of Lupin's corpse. The corpse explodes, and Zenigata comes face to face with... Lupin?!

Lupin is surprised by this turn of events but has no time to chat with Zenigata. He is off to Egypt to retrieve the "Philosopher's Stone" from the pharaoh's pyramid. Fujiko has promised to exchange a date with her for the stone. Lupin succeeds in his theft but is double-crossed by Fujiko. As Fujiko hands over the stone to her mysterious employer, she finds out that Lupin has double-crossed her by handing over a fake stone containing a transmitter.

Fujiko's employer is Mamo, a man obsessed with immortality. What follows is a wild chase through Paris, the Caribbean, and Columbia to discover Mamo's secret. Is Mamo immortal as he claims? Is Lupin even the real Lupin?

Lupin's search for the source of the legendary counterfeit "Goat Money" leads him to the small country of Cagliostro. While fixing a flat tire on the side of the road, Lupin and Jigen are passed by a beautiful girl being chased by a group of thugs. Lupin naturally rushes to the aid of the pretty girl and saves her from a nasty fall over a cliff.

The girl turns out to be the Princess Clarisse soon to wed the Count of Cagliostro. The Count is seeking to find the lost treasure of Caglistro and needs the Princess's ring to do so. Can Lupin rescue the Princess, find the counterfeit money, and find the lost treasure? And just what is his secret past with both the Count and Clarisse?

Special 5 Bye Bye Liberty Crisis

To settle down with a woman he loves, Lupin attempts to steal all the computer files compiled about him. For once, Zenigata foils Lupin's plan, and to add insult to injury, the woman Lupin loved has left him and taken all his money. Half-heartedly, Lupin agrees to help Jigen score a large diamond, but a boy named Michael keeps following them around asking for Lupin's help. The diamond has been hidden somewhere in the Statue of Liberty, and Lupin decides to steal the whole Statue in order to find it. If stealing a national landmark was not trouble enough, Lupin finds himself the target of a mysterious cult who also seeks the diamond. What is the connection between the diamond, the cult, and the persistent Michael?

Complicating matters is Inspector Zenigata, who has been roped into judging the "Miss ICPO Beauty Contest" and must now drag a group of nominees around with him, all eager to prove themselves as agents.

Special 7 The Plot of the Fuma Clan

The movie begins at the wedding of Goemon Ishikawa XIII and his fiancée Murasaki. During the ceremony where the Suminawa family heirloom, a valuable antique urn, is handed over to Goemon, several black-clad ninja attack the party and attempt to steal the urn. Lupin and his colleagues fight off the ninja, but during the confusion others kidnap Goemon's bride-to-be and escape, leaving a ransom note.

Meanwhile, Inspector Zenigata has retired to a Buddhist temple following the apparent death of his long-time quarry Lupin. A colleague from ICPO is trying to persuade him to return to work, but Zenigata says he has "no interest in a world without Lupin". Zenigata soon changes his mind when he is shown a photograph of Lupin at the wedding ceremony earlier that day. Zenigata resumes his life-long pursuit of Lupin!

At the Suminawa household, Murasaki's grandfather explains to Goemon that the urn holds the secret location of the Suminawa family treasure, and that the Fuma clan, the ninjas who attacked the ceremony that morning, have been trying to steal it for just as long. He refuses to hand over the urn to the Fuma clan, but Lupin steals it instead and exchanges it for Murasaki's life. The urn contains a hidden engraving revealing the location of the treasure; an underground cave deep in the mountains.

Soon the race is on as Lupin and company, with Zenigata in close pursuit, try to beat the Fuma clan in negotiating the trap-laden caves beneath the mountain to find the ancient treasure.

Lupin decides to steal Shot Shell's profits and is surprised to have Zenigata join forces with him. ICPO has given a vicious ex-mercenary named Keith one mission -- bring Lupin in dead or alive. With danger lurking in every corner of the map, Lupin decides to use a nuclear submarine as bait for his plans. Can Lupin find Shot Shell and relieve them of their financial burden before Keith relieves Lupin of his life? And what secret past does Karen, a beautiful Russian scientist, and Jigen share?

Lupin has set his sights on a the national treasure of the country of Zufu, placed for safe-keeping on a mysterious floating island by the country's late king. The key seems to be linked to the princess of Zufu, the only surviving member of the royal family. She is held prisoner by Zufu's current ruler, General Headhunter, who recently acquired rule over the country when he secretly pulled a coup d'etat and executed the country's king and prince. When Lupin's gang kidnaps the princess to get hold of the key, they pull in trouble by way of a deadly Zufu police agent named Olèander and a million-dollar bounty placed on Lupin's head by the psychotic Headhunter. Now, Lupin must find a safe way to the treasure, dodging bounty hunters at every turn.

The search for the treasure becomes more complicated as Lara, a beautiful rebel leader joins Lupin, and Goemon seeks only revenge against Sadachiyo.

Fujiko and Lupin are enjoying a romantic dinner together; as usual, Lupin's appetites include getting a taste of Fujiko's latest plan. Fujiko has uncovered the "Columbus Files" that tell of an incredible treasure known appropriately as the "Columbus Egg". Before Lupin can learn more, they are attacked by a helicopter squadron led by Nazaroff. Lupin and Fujiko end up hanging onto the edge of a cliff, but Fujiko falls to earth after a gunshot severs the rope attaching her to Lupin. A young woman named Rosaria is handing over a piece of sunken treasure to a buyer. She returns home to find an uninvited guest... Fujiko! However, Fujiko has amnesia and is haunted by frightening images of being chased by Nazaroff's men and of the contents of the Columbus Files. Can Lupin restore Fujiko's memories to find the Columbus Egg as well as for her own sake? And why is Rosaria determined to find the Egg for herself?

Jigen strikes a match and remembers... Jigen's tale revolves around a millionaire named Galbez and an ancient Japanese cylinder made from some green metal. The cylinder contains a scroll that tells how to forge an indestructible metal; Lupin wanted to steal it, and it was Jigen's job to stop him along with Galbez's bodyguard Shade.

Special 24 Operation: Return the Treasure

"The Trick Diamond" is the key to unlocking a treasure hidden within Gaudí 's famous Park Gruell. The crime lord Mark Williams was in possession of the diamond but has recently passed away. However, his will gives Lupin a chance to gain the object of many a criminal's desire. Lupin is in for quite a shock though as Mark's conditions are quite unique. Mark replaced six treasures with copies and has kept the originals for himself. Now, Lupin must prove his talent by switching the originals back into place within seven days. Only then will he be given the location of the diamond.

In Bastille, France, the treasure of the Bourbon Dynasty was stacked in a truck and stolen. Thinking it was undoubtedly Lupin's doing, Zenigata and the French police pursue the truck. But, the criminal was actually an unheard-of woman. Then, the true Lupin appears. Lupin successfully steals the truckload of treasure from the woman but is then mysteriously kidnapped. Malchovich is the man who kidnapped Lupin. Fujiko is also caught and kept hostage while trying to steal the worldwide famous jewel "Bull's Eye". In order to rescue Fujiko, Lupin, along with reluctant Jigen and Goemon, tries to steal Bull's Eye from the Grand Bateau, the French museum renowned for having the greatest security in the world. Everything starts from here! Female thief Becky, scoundrel Malchovich, and Lupin... Ambition, human relations... Each secret becomes gradually clear during the scramble for the Bull's Eye. The series' highest spectacle romance unfolds, and France is the stage.

Mamo hurls Lupin, Jigen, Goemon, and Zenigata 500 years into the past; as two warring factions fight over a legendary shrine dedicated to time travel, Lupin must find a way to survive the past to ensure his future.

After Arsène Lupin III disappearance in the world, people have began imitating Lupin's appearance and personality in an attempt to become the "real Lupin". After a fake Lupin was captured by the police, all the Lupins around the world travel to Tokyo to free the captured Lupin only to be captured themselves. A skilled pick pocketer named Yasuo is given a green coat and a Walther P38, the same gun Lupin uses, by a mysteriously elderly man. Yasuo decides to don the Green jacket and takes the role of Lupin. He then announces to the company Night Hawk that he will steal the object they have secured in the building, the Ice Cube. After gathering information on the Ice Cube, Yasuo is confronted by the real Lupin donning the Red Jacket. Yasuo decides that if he can defeat the real Lupin, he will be considered the new Lupin. However they are interrupted when a missile strikes the car behind Yasuo and seemingly kills him. Yasuo awakens to find out Fujiko Mine had save his life. They decide to team up in order to steal the Ice Cube. Once breaking into the Night Hawk building, Yasuo manages to possess the Ice Cube which is revealed to be the prototype of a new generation of nuclear warfare. Lupin and Koichi Zenigata allows Yasuo to escape with the Ice Cube to prevent its misuse in war. The next day, a fake Lupin decides to set up a match between Lupin and Yasuo. The two meet atop a building and a Lupin with an unknown jacket color is thrown off the building. The unknown Lupin awakens in an ambulance and escapes before Zenigata captures him. Yasuo decides to pay a visit to his sick grandmother who wishes him well. Later that night, Yasuo, revealed to be the winner of the duel, escapes with Daisuke Jigen from the cops.

Finding himself in Singapore, Lupin must battle his way past the forces of Colonel Garlic and discover the secret behind the lamp. But every time the clock strikes 7PM, his memory is wiped clean! How can Lupin piece together this puzzle, when he can't even remember what he is doing?
