Maybe he can't use any of the powers that he takes from someone else. Besides, i think it would create a time paradox. If he time travels back to the past to save that girl he would have no reason anymore in the present to go back and save the girl in the first place.

I loved the punishment they came up with for the rapist, but I feel a bit sorry for the actor playing him, especially if it took multiple takes ;)

If the power broker wants to resurrect someone, then why did he sell the time travel power? Saving her before she could die would have been better than trying to resurrect her skeleton.
