I don't like StarTrek, I am not a fan of any of the other Stargates (with the exception of the first movie) but this was by far one of my favorite shows on TV. The acting was exceptional and the plot started ok to good and went to great very quickly. Canceling this show was a big mistake. Maybe we will at least get a Movie out of it like FireFly.

Canceling this show was an absolute travesty of any kind of sense or logic.

Most interesting SciFi show ever. Wonderful show, too bad the "ratings"where bad. Also too bad the ratings system is even still used to determined on whether to continue a show or not.

Great show... really started to show some progress in Season 2. The only hopes for this show to every get anywhere again is to do a TV Movie since most of the cast members have picked up new jobs.

Anyone heard anything about a TV movie?

When does that ever happen? Except for Family guy and Futurama i don't know of any tv shows that got back on the air after they have been cancelled.

You can always trust SyFy (and Fox) to cancel great shows. At least they've left this in a state where it could be picked up in the future.

All things considered i thought it was a good show. Too bad there is not a thirth season, i thought the stories of the alternative Stargate people that multiplied and spread across the galaxy was intriguing. I feel like that could have been worked out some more in a thirth and maybe even a fourth season.

So far i know this was the only tv show that had spaceships and battles in space. I really miss that. With the CGI you can generate today the space battles could look amazing, like in the movie Serenity when the Reavers are fighting The Alliance. It would be so cool if we could see something like in a tv show.

MGM and SyFy have lost themselves to the rest of the garbage networks...

What? no season 3?
