Very uneven first half (weird saying this about this season considering this is the 17th episode).
There were some great moments but the consequences of those moments are quickly forgotten about, feeling like the writers are just going through the motions with a script never went past the first draft.

Still, it ends on a high note. The bluff was very fun to watch unfold, the fight between Jack and Fayed is fucking brutal but also a fitting end to their violent relationship and the cliffhanger in the end teases a very intriguing 2nd half.

Alright, fair play, they got me with the misdirect on the missile. It doesn't really make any sense as to why Wayne needed to deceive his own staff, but ok, sure, fine.

They certainly wrapped all this Fayed stuff up pretty quickly.
I love how, for this whole season up until now, they kept saying "Fayed's country," or "your country" when speaking with the ambassador (or the ambassador himself saying "our country.") Really going out of their way to never mention an actual country's name. Don't want to point a finger at any real-life countries.

Oh god, are we really going to be doing Audrey shit for the rest of the season? Groan...

What did Doyle say? That call was rooted through CTU? Then someone should have initially answered that call who did they speak with? Also they should have that number already then.

Will the writers ever give Jack a break :joy:
