24 already did a storyline way back in S1 where a woman discovered an ugly truth about her lover, was sent in to deceive that lover, failed at it (because they suddenly sucked at pretending), and attacked the lover. This was just a rehash of shit they've already done. It's lame.
It's clear that they have like 30 minutes max of actual semi-meaningful plot, but are stretching it out to fill multiple episodes.
