Somehow, 9-1-1: Lone Star pulled off an impressively good episode; quite a pleasant surprise in a season that I frankly haven't been enjoying as much as I usually enjoy 9-1-1: Lone Star. Nearly every side plot was pretty interesting, and they properly balanced the plots to keep the most interesting events in the forefront. The lasting consequences at the end of the episode were another pleasant surprise, and something that the series could certainly use to generate more compelling plots moving forward.

Good episode.

Grace is so freaking precious, I'm with Linus, she IS beautiful, inside and out. As for Marwani leaving, that's total bullshit, it's got to be a set-up for the terrorist foil storyline. She has to come back to ID Mr. Angry KKK veteran guy... right?

Anyone that encouraged Marjan to give in to the extortionist couple should be ashamed. The entire Austin FD should be ashamed for expecting Marjan to give in and apologize on top of using her followers to endorse their scam campaign. When Owen caused some trouble, he got little consequence. Marjan did nothing wrong. See how she was treated. I hate to say it but I smell white privilege in the Austin FD.

Ugh the solution for marj was to apologize for the way she did with context and let her social media followers handle it. Also I’m surprised they went this route considering how social media is her followers would cause so much backlash.

Awful position they put Marjan and I respect her decision.

Also, how come stroke wasn't the first in mind when the woman wasn't talking correctly

To be fair, it did seem off how Marjan so blatantly called that woman crazy, it didn’t seem like her, but the way this storyline has evolved is at the very least ridiculous and infuriating. Glad to see her standing by herself and what she believes in but deserves so much better than this.

So, giving in to an obvious scam is what's expected? I mean, honestly, what do you call someone who's trapped in a house that's being relocated by your ex... and who suddenly doesn't want to leave said house because of some occupancy rights? And in the heat of the moment you always have to say the politically correct thing? And if you don't you don't only need to apologize (which, of course, is not the issue here) but also need to use your own resources to help an extortion scam just so the FD doesn't look bad? What's that for a work environment? That HR lady should be ashamed, as should the whole brass, and yes, even Owen.

So terrorist guy's checking response times...

And Grace... I like her, but sometimes she comes across as a little too heavy on the being good/great/empathetic side... I'd love to see some rough edges here.
