Season 1

Fantastic first season. I'm honestly happy that this show was renewed for not only a second season but also a third season, and I hope it won't end there.

Decent 1st season.
A little too 'love conquers all' for my taste & we still know nothing about the Demons.
And since the sun apparently means nothing to the Vampires, I would appreciate an explanation of their limitations.
Aside from those complaints I'm looking forward to season 2.

Overall not a bad season. Definitely one of those guilty pleasures shows. Hope the story will flow a bit better in season 2. There was so much abrupt scene changes and rushed events, probably trying to fit all the book material.

This is truly fantasy because everyone has a PhD and is hot, the vampires and witches and whatnot were arguably more believable. The fact that this came out 10 years after Twilight makes it just feel like a slightly grown up version, but the characters are similarly vapid and one dimensional except for Matthew which really makes you wonder why he likes her so much.

Better than I expected, and I'm intrigued now. Looking forward to starting season 2.

I was hesitant to watch this given all the mixed reviews. The first episode didn't really catch me, but I decided to keep going. Glad I did - wonderful world building and I'm looking forward to starting season 2.

Amazing first season and I'm looking forward to what may come.
