[NRK] Following a narrative construction close to "The Crown", the series offers a look at the intimacy of royalty through the representation of Gustavo V's homosexuality, and especially his alleged relationship with Kurt Haijby. The debate on the fictionalization of historical events is clear, since it has not been shown that this relationship existed, but at least the staging is sumptuous, although the Manichean representation of the characters harms the credibility.
