1x02 The Heat

This was an extremely disappointing episode after the first to say the least...

Another not so amazing story. Snore.

Utterly stupid episode that panders to the status quo. Skip this.

Boring episode. Bad acting. Terrible storyline. And why does the story have to be a gay story? I would skip this episode.

Acting was quite stiff in the emotional parts, so came out really bad, and I didn't like the pacing (feel like they should have stent more time on skate board dude at the end, like find a real reason he was blocked and solve it to let him go).

First episode was a little more substantial in regard to those points.

That was a great episode. Profound, emotional. Though I don't believe in the afterlife, the story is indeed amazing. The living girl was so strong. Their acting was superb, these two girls made me cry with their acting.

Spoilers:
Sterling who dreams to be a famous track runner with her best friend Tuka. Finds herself mourning her best friend after a tragic hit and run.
Tuka becomes her Mr. Miyagi though. After Sterling finds that she can hear Tuka when running. Tuka trains Sterling to win a big race for college.
Yes the episode is as silly as it sounds but it also has its moving moments. Despite it becoming about them being more than just friends. Since this day and age no can be just friends.
Otherwise most of it is a moving story of friendship. Before it turns into an unnecessary story about women in love. This was a nice, yet kind of stupid episode.
