I hate when they drag religion (even fictional ones, because it just nullifies a character's motivations by just replacing it with "oh but insert divine entity wills it! Who am I to argue?!?) into my sci-fi, but otherwise this is fine I guess.
I'm personally skipping it though. I advise you do the same.
