A very decent episode, Lonely Hearts continues to explore Angel's troubled integration into society and a thematically interesting story of sex, murder and isolation ensues. While the supernatural elements of the story provide a strong framework to explore the need to connect, the episode lacks the confidence of City Of. The chemistry between the core group is not quite there yet and as such, the interactions between Cordelia and Doyle, while solid, lack that extra punch.
