1) Season 5
2) Season 3
3) Season 4 (The whole Connor and Cordelia thing really messed this up, nevertheless I like it more than season 1 or 2 because of the addition of Fred and more Lorne.)
4) Season 2
5) Season 1 - a common theme with Whedon's shows, is that I like things more the farther it goes on
"We pocess the most powerful thing in the world - conviction." "There is one thing more powerful than conviction - mercy." "what happens to mercy?" "you just saw the last of it." Touches some interesting themes. What does Angel mean when he says "you just saw the last of mercy"? I hope it is more explored later in the series. Gunn's transformation gives him a lot of potential to be more deeply involved in the stories. I'm happy for it except that it feels that his character is reworked, and it feels too convenient.

Already better than season 4. Less Connor, more Spike and Harmony. More humor in one episode than in the entire season 4.
