Way to fail Melody. You had proof that Samuel isn't who he seems and you couldn't hold on to it? That seems like something that is critical to unraveling the mystery. Far more important than any of the other crap you were doing like the art show or going off on Samuel in the middle of the street. Priorities...
And then Melody acts like a complete wacko. Then she goes and touches stuff knowing there is toxic mold. Dumbass, you don't want to touch it! And there is no sense of urgency or priority. Either she wants to save Annabelle or she wants to fuck around with her camera. So after a complete meltdown over Annabelle she decides to fuck around with her camera and gives no thought to the ticking clock after leaving Cassandra's apartment before Samuel shows up to find her. Did she honestly think Cassandra wouldn't tell Samuel? She is completely inept. So much for helping Annabelle... if Melody really wanted to help Annabelle instead if making her idiotic film, she would have quickly scraped off a sample of the mold and got it to someone to do an analysis. Melody is absolutely detestable in her egocentric personality. She doesn't really want to help anyone, she just wants to confront the bad people and be the one to save everyone else. Her concern is so fake. It is really all about Melody and her being a self righteous savior.
Dan is no better. He has a temper tantrum and destroys all the cameras in the house for no discernable reason. Thus, there is no more proof of the ongoing crazy shit that is happening, such as watching a tape that completely destroys the playback/transfer device and infects it with mold, which would have been useful for reference with Virgil. Yet another example of how to have zero foresight and be a completely incompetent individual.
And then what is up with the telephone conversation with Virgil? That was really a half witted way to confront Virgil.
And I am shocked it takes him so long to realize that the soap opera tapes were the ones Patricia recorded. That was the first thing that came to mInd when I heard about the tapes. And then how many labels does he have to remove to verify it. One should have been enough, but he has to remove about six before he gets it...
Situational awareness... Dan sucks at it.
There's really something that's not adding up? Not sure but someone wants something really badly from the tapes and has set up everything ready for the big reveal. :flushed::thinking:

Out of all of them, this is the episode that has the most climactic buildup yet. I can sense that we’re not even close to figuring out what’s going on. This is only the surface. We’ve barely scratched it.
