Another solid episode ruined by the use of blackface in the final scene. A pity but a sign of the era, I suppose (although 1980 isn’t all that long ago — also interesting that Wendy Richard isn’t in blackface; I wonder if she objected).
Mostly singing and dancing, resulting in this being the worst episode I’ve seen. Definitely a Xmas one off extra episode that should never have been made. So many episodes I rate as a 10 and mostly 9, yet this is a deserving 6.
